BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A blast of colder air is impacting the country, with snow falling in states stretching from Oklahoma to Michigan. This surge of colder air will reach our area overnight, with temperatures ranging from upper 30s northwest, to 40s further south. A northwest wind will make it feel much colder, with possible gusts topping 20 mph on Wednesday. I’m expecting mostly sunny weather for Wednesday, but the chill will be very noticeable. Even with sunshine, highs will struggle to reach 60º.
